尋找歷史的足跡 / Finding the ancient footpath
當我還是學生時，我從來都沒有上過歷史課。我的歷史知識是從玩遊戲機，看電視劇，和上網搜尋得來的。但我就是偏愛古代的歷史，所以我趁放大假時就帶同媽媽一起去一個尋找歷史之旅，一口氣去了6個地方: 西安-咸陽-邯鄲-安陽-宜昌和武漢。
頭4個是有名的古城，看了很多遺址，陵墓和博物館。遊歷過後有很大感觸，真的希望能穿越時空，回到那時看個究竟。這次旅行亦令我想起H.H.南無第三世多杰羌佛的法音，想起了世事無常，沒有東西是永遠常在的。例如以前很多的建築物都因爲時間的洗禮和人爲因素而被破壞了，文化也隨著時代變了質。
這2星期的歷史課讓我獲益良多，讓我對中國歷史有更深的認識和了解自己民族的好處和壞處！
這是我給年輕朋友們的建議：有空趁年輕去外面走走，看看世界，學學自己民族的文化歷史，增廣見聞。
Finding the ancient footpath
When I was a student, I had never studied any history. All my ancient Chinese history knowledge came from TV games, watching TV series and researching on the internet. However, I am just very interested in the ancient Chinese history. While on my long vacation I grabbed my Mother to go to this historical trip with me. We went to 6 cities and they were Xian-Handan-Anyang-Yichang-Wuhan.
The first 4 cities are very famous ancient cities with lots of relics and remains of the ancient city. We saw some relics, tombs, and museums and this made me really wanted to do some time travel back to the past and experience it. This trip made me thought about during my Dharma listening to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III that nothing in the world lasts forever and this was what I saw and realised during this trip. Many of the relics and buildings and objects had been destroyed due to weather, time and humans. Culture of ancient times had been changed too.
This 2 weeks of my trip benefited me a great deal learning the goods and bads of my own origin and I was really glad that I actually planned and did it!
Advice to my fellow young friends: When you have time while you are still young, go out there see the world, learn your own origin and see more!
